Technical FAQs

Commercial temperature-control touchless faucet with infrared sensing, solid-brass construction, AC/DC power and serviceable hydraulic components.

✥ How Is The Sensor Range Commissioned? +
The sensing distance is adjustable, with the factory operating position set at approximately 4 to 5 inches from the sensor. Final calibration should be completed after the basin and surrounding reflective surfaces are installed.
◇ What Pressure Range Is Required? +
BathSelect lists approximately 10 to 125 PSI for the Molino system. Stable dynamic pressure should be maintained through the valve assembly to support consistent activation and discharge performance.
◯ What Is The Rated Flow? +
The Molino commercial sensor faucet is specified with an approximately 1.5 GPM flow rate. During commissioning, verify the outlet stream and inspect the strainer if flow is lower than expected.
↻ How Does Automatic Shutoff Operate? +
The infrared AI control system activates water without handle contact and incorporates an adjustable automatic shutoff function factory set to approximately 30 seconds to limit unattended water discharge.
⌁ How Should False Activations Be Corrected? +
Clean the infrared sensor window and check for reflective basin surfaces or objects inside the detection field. Recalibrate the sensing distance after the final sink and countertop configuration has been established.
⚙ What Connections Are Specified? +
BathSelect identifies DN15 inlet and outlet connections for the Molino sensor assembly. Supply piping should be flushed before connection to prevent construction debris from reaching the solenoid and internal strainer.
⚡ What Power Options Are Available? +
The Molino supports AC/DC operation. BathSelect specifies AC110V and DC6V power, allowing the installation strategy to be coordinated with available electrical service and maintenance access.
⌕ What Routine Maintenance Is Required? +
Periodically clean the sensor window and outlet, inspect the built-in strainer, check the solenoid enclosure and verify stable activation, water delivery and complete automatic shutoff.

Our transportation terminal serves hundreds of visitors each day, so smooth restroom circulation is important. Since these faucets entered service, activation has remained consistent during peak periods, preventing the delays that older fixtures regularly created.

5 of 5 No irregular interruption Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Reviewer: Nathan Collins, Systems Engineer from Dallas, TX
Before upgrading several healthcare restroom facilities between 2023 and 2025, older touch-free faucets repeatedly experienced inconsistent shutoff timing and premature valve wear under high-cycle usage. After deploying 16 units of the Molino Touch-Free Faucet, operational reliability improved considerably. The faucet maintained dependable infrared responsiveness throughout continuous daily operation, while the finish retained structural and cosmetic integrity despite aggressive disinfectant-cleaning schedules. Water flow also remained smooth without irregular stream interruption during rapid repeated activations. From a technical servicing standpoint, the internal valve assembly maintained stable pressure regulation despite fluctuations in inlet supply conditions. Sensor calibration consistency also remained highly predictable across all installed units.
